KATHMANDU, July 17: Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Industry (MoI) for utilizing remittances in rural parts of the country.

Issuing a statement, FNCCI said that the MoU has been signed to promote entrepreneurship by utilizing remittances under the 'Rural Enterprises and Remittence-RER SAMRIDDHI'. FNCCI President Bhawani Rana and Saroj Prasad Guragain, manager of the project, signed the MoU on Friday.
“The main partner of the project is International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). The project, which runs for five years will help 60,000 entrepreneurs,” FNCCI said in the statement.
