KATHMANDU, Oct 19: State-owned Food Management and Trading Company (FMTC) has started selling goats at a fair price targeting the festival of Dashain.
The FMTC is selling live goats at Rs 560 per kilogram from its selling outlet at Thapathali in the capital. The customers are also offered a discount of Rs 10 per kg.
A total of 405 goats were brought to the outlet from Makwanpur and Dang districts on Sunday evening, a staffer at the sales counter told Republica.
