JAJARKOT, Dec 21: The flood victims in Surkhet on Tuesday evening presented a memorandum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a visit here in Birendranagar to take part in the CPN (Maoist Centre) Province no 6 meeting and training program.
The victims of floods that struck in 2014 said they had become hopeful after getting information that the quake-stricken were going to receive relief and appealed to increase the relief money as it was not enough to buy land.
Four District Flood Victim Coordination Committee Chief, Bal Bahadur Thapa, presented the PM with the memorandum and appealed for treating the displaced flood victims in par with other victims when the government provides relief.
Meanwhile, Auto Entrepreneurs Association, Surkhet also submitted a memorandum to PM Dahal in Birendranagar for support in building an auto village in Surkhet. RSS
