KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Flipkart has entered the Nepali market in partnership with Sastodeal, a Nepal-based online shopping website to sell its products.

Flipkart, an Indian firm, will sell products ranging from clothing to electronic accessories in Nepal in partnership with Sastodeal. According to Sastodeal, its focus for now is to make those products available to Nepali consumers that are not easily available in Nepal.

“Although we have started with just 5000 products, we look to gradually increase product offerings with Flipkart and Myntra and also to shorten the delivery time and narrow the price differences,” the company stated on its Facebook post, adding: “Capable teams on both sides are working hard to make this happen.”

The company has said that Flipkart and Myntra private labels are readily available with Sastodeal for regular (1-2 days) shipping. “Cross border transactions for now will take upto 21 days,” it added.
