KATHMANDU, August 16: The Nepal Airlines Corporation has stated that the news of sending a flight for the rescue of Nepalis in Afghanistan is baseless.

The NAC has denied the news after a section of media ran reports on Sunday that NAC was preparing a chartered flight to rescue Nepalis from Afghanistan.
Dim Prakash Poudel, Managing Director of NAC, clarified that the NAC has not decided to fly its narrow-body to Afghanistan. Poudel added that the NAC has not received any instructions from the government so far.
