KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Five people of the same family who went missing while going to play in the snow at Chandragiri on February 6 have been rescued successfully.
According to the police, Rita Gurung, 23, Saubhagya Gurung, 15, Sahaj Gurung, 13, Jenisha Gurung, 11 and Anwin Gurung, 7 of Chandragiri Municipality-6 went missing in a jungle while returning home. The police search team found them after a five-hour long search, after receiving the missing complaint from the relatives at 8:30PM yesterday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, all of them are safe. They were found from Chandragiri forest at 1:25 AM and were rescued and handed over to their relatives after undergoing medical examination, police said.
