NEPALGUNJ, July 13: Five Nepali people were killed when a passenger bus heading to New Delhi from Butwal met with an accident in Utter Pradesh in India on Monday, police said.
Other 28 passengers were injured in the accident.
Superintendent of Police Tek Prasad Rai said that preparations were underway to bring the bodies of the Nepalis home.
The bus (Na 4 Kha 7687) collided with an Indian truck in Bahraich district in India, police said. Rai said that a team led by Inspector Pramod Kumar Chhetri was sent to the accident site to inquire about the accident.
