Five-member probe panel formed to investigate Kailali prison clash

A five-member committee has been constituted to investigate the recent clash at Kailali Prison that resulted in one fatality.

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: A five-member committee has been constituted to investigate the recent clash at Kailali Prison that resulted in one fatality.



The committee is being led by Assistant Chief District Officer Kiran Joshi.

Members of the panel include DSP Rajkumar Singh of Nepal Police, DSP Jankara Pant of the Armed Police Force, Investigation Officer Dipendra Singh, and Administrative Officer Shivraj Joshi from the District Administration Office, who will serve as the committee secretary, DSP Rajkumar Singh informed.


The committee has been mandated to determine the cause of the incident and submit its report within 10 days.
