Five injured in lightning

JAJARKOT, May 1: Five people were injured in lightning in Jajarkot district on Sunday night.

Laxmiman Kami, Himraj BK, Sunita BK, Damber Bahadur Shahi and Dhan Rupa BK of Kolcheura village were injured in the incident. 

Of the injured, condition of Laxmiman was critical and he has been taken to Radi bazaar, Rukum for further treatment. Similarly, other minor injured are receiving treatment in the village. 

Electric meter boxes, radio and televisions were damaged when the lightning struck the electric pole near the village, said locals. RSS
