Five held with narcotics

KATHMANDU, 13 July: Police have arrested five people from the different parts of the country on the charge of drugs peddling on Wednesday.

Police have arrested Dhan Bahadhur Kumal, 36, of Tanahu with 182 ampoules of diazepam, 181 ampoules of fenargan and 179 ampoules of norfin.

Bikash Padwal and Jiwan Gupta were from Nepalgunj with 15 grams of marijuana and other drugs and 14 tablets of nitravet.

Similarly, police arrested Padwal and Gupta from Neaplgunj-12 with a motorcycle during regular checking.

Likewise, police have also detained Babin Subba, 19 and Nimesh Lama, 18, from Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan-28, with 30 tablets of nitravet.

Police have started investigation into these cases.
