First meeting of newly integrated RPP held

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: The first meeting of the central working committee of newly integrated Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) held in the capital today. 

Earlier on Monday, the RPP was merged with Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal. 

The meeting discussed ways to run various political activities to disseminate a message of unity between the recently integrated parties across all 75 districts, apart from holding consultations on current political issues and the constitution amendment proposal, said RPP leader Rajaram Shrestha. 

Likewise, RPP Chairperson Kamal Thapa presented a political report in the meeting on which party leaders put their views. 

The meeting attended by around 300 party office bearers and central members will also discuss holding party general convention at the earliest, Shrestha said. RSS
