First-ever Chauri Mahotsab kicks off in Panchthar district

ILLAM, April 17: The first-ever Chauri Mahotsab aimed at linking Chauri((a cow which is a crossbreed of yak and cow) on the verge of extinction with tourism has kicked off at Charrate located in Falelung Rural Municipality of Panchthar district.

As many as 200 chauris taken from six surrounding villages were put on display as important part of Mahotsab. The pictures showing the major scenes of the Mahotsab are shown below:
