DIPAYAL, April 2: After two hours of efforts, the fire in Pipalla Bazar of Dipayal, has came under control.
The fire that broke out from local JB Oil Store was extinguished with the joint involvement of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and locals. The water tanker of Far-Western Police Training Center, Dipayal was mobilized to put out the blaze.
According to the police, the fire broke out while transferring the fuel from the tanker in to the vessel. The fire completely destroyed the tanker, oil store, six motorcycles, one ornament shop owned by lawmaker Kalpana Shov, one hotel and three houses of locals.
Likewise, local branch of Ratriya Banijya Bank and some other houses have also been partially affected by the fire. Oil Store owner Karna Bhandari has received minor injuries and is undergoing treatment at Shaileshwori Hospital.
