ITAHARI, Aug 15: Property worth over three million rupees was gutted after two scrap metal shops caught fire at Dharan-Biratnagar road section in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City early this morning.
The property was gutted after two scrap shops belonging to Ramesh Dangol and Deepak Chaudhary caught fire at 3:00 am.
According to the Area Police Office, Itahari, the fire destroyed the property worth over Rs 2 million after Dangol's shop caught fire.
Similarly, property worth one million rupees turned into ashes after shop belonging to Chaudhary caught fire.
The fire was doused after three hours with the help of two fire engines, police personnel and locals. RSS
