POKHARA, Nov 10: Properties worth Rs 50 million have been gutted by fire that caught Hongkong Bazar, a popular shopping complex at Prithivi Chowk in Pokhara on Wednesday night. 

According to Milan Prasad Tiwari, proprietor of the Hongkong Bazar, the fire broke out suddenly at the shopping complex and burned down clothes, cosmetic, electronic products among others in the 30 shops of the complex. 

The fire has completely destroyed 23 shops while seven shops were partially damaged. 
Fire brigade, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and locals jointly fought the flames for five hours and finally put out the blaze, shared proprietor Tiwari. RSS
