Fire causes loss worth over Rs 264 million at Ambe Steel Industry

BANKE, Feb 24: A fire broke out in Ambe Steel Industry located in Janki Rural Municipality-5 in Banke at around 6:30 am on Friday morning.

BANKE, Feb 24: A fire broke out in Ambe Steel Industry located in Janki Rural Municipality-5 in Banke at around 6:30 am on Friday morning.


The fire was brought under control with the help of the police personnel, locals and fire brigade. It is estimated that the fire started due to the bursting of the oil stock tank of the industry.

According to the police, the damage is worth around Rs 264 million. Further details of the loss are awaited.
