KATHMANDU, Aug 18: Finland's Oulu University of Applied Sciences has launched an initiative for business incubation in Nepal, entitled "Building University Capacity to Support Business Incubation in Nepal", in partnership with Nepal's King's College and three other institutions.
According to a statement issued on Friday, two academic institutes -- King's College and KUSOM, and two industry partners -- Young Innovations Pvt. Ltd and Idea Studio Nepal, will jointly work to implement the three-year-long project that will end in mid-2020.
The statement further said that the project will help in promotion of employment, livelihoods, and social wellbeing in Nepal, which the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prioritized for development support in Nepal.
