KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said that the government would boost the confidence of the private sector through its policies and programs.
During a meeting with a delegation team of Nepal Chamber of Commerce led by its president Rajesh Kaji Shrestha on Wednesday, Finance Minister Paudel said that the government has prioritized the economic revival and minimization of adverse impact of COVID-19 by supporting and encouraging the private sector.

He said that the government and private sectors should work together for the economic recovery.
He also urged the private sector to operate their businesses and industries by embracing health safety protocols and resume economic activities in the country. According to Finance Minister Paudel, the government would implement all economic relief and revival programs introduced in the budget.
During the meeting, NCC President Shrestha urged the government to create a favorable environment for the private sector for doing business in the country.
NCC also submitted a 22-point suggestion to the government for the economic recovery.
