Finance Minister Dr Mahat forms a budget drafting committee with Bhupal Baral as its coordinator

KATHMANDU, April 8: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Saran Mahat has formed a budget drafting committee for the next financial year.

The committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Bhupal Baral. Uttar Kumar Khatri, Dhaniram Sharma and Baburam Subedi are members of the committee.

Finance Minister Dr Mahat brought Baral, Khatri and Subedi into the ministry and formed a committee. All three are officials of the Ministry of Finance.

Since he has less than two months to prepare the budget, Dr Mahat urgently brought in the staff and formed the committee.
