The Film Development Board has decided to give scholarships to 20 students studying filmmaking. The board has asked for applications for the same.
NRNA to provide scholarships to 5,000 students
The board has issued a notice on Gorkhapatra stating to fill up the application form by September 20. In the notice, it has been mentioned that the provision for scholarship is given to encourage study, research and fellowship regarding filmmaking.
It has been requested to submit the application form along with the student’s certificates and other reports issued by researchers.
The PHD fellowship is said to be provided to two students while the MPhil fellowship will also be provided to two students. Similarly, the post-graduate scholarship will be provided to a total of two students from the category of research related to film and the category of writing optional paper as well as research paper during the study of filmmaking.
The graduate scholarship will be provided to a total of 10 students based upon open and reservation categories in which the minority groups such as Madhesis, Dalits, Janajatis and Women will also be included. Moreover, short-term courses will be provided to two students.
