BHARATPUR, Jan 6: The fifth edition of the CAN Info-Tech trade fair is to be held in Bharatpur of Chitwan from February 7 to 11.
The fair is to be organized by Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Chitwan branch. CAN Chitwan announced this through a news conference here today.
The fair will be held at the old vegetable market at Lions Chowk in Narayangadh with the theme of "Chitwan's Prosperity, Information Technology."
The festival will have 81 stalls showcasing computer hardware, software, cyber security, mobile, smart TV, and the stalls related to colleges and consultancies regarding higher education.
CAN Chitwan branch president Santosh Janak Bhusal said the fair is organized with the objective of encouraging the youths and students towards the information technology sector and to promote their talent.
Bhusal said a hackathon competition would be held for the first time as part of the fair.
It will also include interaction on ICT, various competitions, the Digital Nepal Technology Show, public awareness programme, seminar, robotics exhibition, etc.
