KATHMANDU, March 16: Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN), with the support of Ministry of Commerce and Delegation of the European Union in Nepal, is organizing a series of interactions and workshops for handicraft artists.
Issuing a statement, FHAN said that the events, which will conclude on March 28, aims at transferring the traditional skills to the new generation and make the new generation artists more responsible toward their job.
Minister for Commerce Romi Gauchan Thakali inaugurated the program on Wednesday.
According to FHAN, Asha Ratna Shakya will conduct silver craft training at Chakupat of Lalitpur from March 19 to 21. Likewise, Prem Man Chitrakar will conducting thanka painting training from March 22 to 24 at FHAN Secretariat. Similarly, Bhim Shakya will conduct training on metal crafts at Okubahal in Lalitpur from March 26 to 28.
