At a press conference held here to make public the manifesto of the party formed after the unification of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum, the Federal Socialist Party and the Khas Inclusive National Party, the party underscored the need for political forces with common policy, ideology and viewpoint to unite. In the party manifesto, it is stated that the institutionalization of the achievements of the successive revolutions and uprisings, and agreements reached between the state and indigenous nationalities and the Madhesi and Khas communities through the CA would make Nepal independent and herald an era of equality and social justice. The party stated that it would also end discrimination and suffering based on ethnicity, language, gender and regional status.
The party was formed in view of the need for an alternate national force to implement the progressive agendas including ensuring ethnic rights, identity, federalism, republic, secularism, inclusive democracy, autonomy, good governance, proportional system, and social justice and security, the party said.
Party Chairman Upendra Yadav said the recent 16-point agreement reached among the four political forces was a conspiracy against federalism and inclusiveness.
Accusing the current government of attempting to give continuity to the ethnicity-based state system, he said, "This agreement was reached among the major parties to continue the unitary ethnic state." RSS
