KATHMANDU, Dec 22: The Federal Alliance Central Struggle Mobilization Main Committee is planning to create public opinion in support of what it called a decisive protest movement by organizing interaction program in all the 10 provinces including the non-geographical ones.
In this connection, the Alliance is holding an extensive interaction in Kathmandu in a week's time.
A meeting of the Alliance presided over by the Alliance chairman Upendra Yadav today called for immediately forwarding the process in the Legislature-Parliament regarding the constitution amendment with revisions and as per the three-point agreement the Alliance signed with the government.
Terming the statement given by the CPN-UML in the name of protesting the constitution amendment bill as an act directed towards disturbing the racial and social tolerance in the country and dividing the nation, the Alliance meeting condemned this kind of 'regressive' activity.
In a press release it issued today, the Alliance has called for promptly stopping this activity of pushing the country towards regression by undermining important achievements as federalism, republic, secularism and participatory democracy. RSS
