BREATHE: A short video on Kathmandu air pollution launched

Myrepublica.com is launching a short video on air pollution in Kathmandu valley to show how it is affecting its denizens. Entitled BREATHE, the first episode of the one-minute-long footage is starting from today. It comes twice a week - Sunday and Wednesday.

NC forms task-force to elect PP leader

A meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee has formed a three-member task-force to elect the Parliamentary Party leader today. The meeting held on Sunday at the Party Central Office, Sanepa formed a committee to carry out homework for the process to elect the parliamentary party leader. NC leader Chinkaji Shrestha is the coordinator of the committee where Bhishma Raj Aangdambe and Nabindra Raj Joshi are the members, said Party Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma.  

UML, Maoist Center to jointly prepare political document

The ruling Left Alliance - CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) - have said that they will jointly start preparing a political document jointly on the basis of common political ideology from Monday. The meeting held on Sunday at the Maoist Center central party office, Peris Danda chaired by leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has decided that both the party members should collect all the political documents and start writing from tomorrow.

Nepalgunj collects Rs 57.1 m in revenue

Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City has collected Rs 57.1 million in revenue until mid-February of the current fiscal year 2017\18. The revenue generation is a slight increment by Rs 7.3 million as compared to Rs 49.8 million collected during the same period in the previous fiscal year. 

Bollywood actor Sridevi passes away

Sridevi passed away on Saturday night after a cardiac arrest, confirmed her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor. She was 54. The first female superstar of Bollywood was reported with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi at the time of death.
