NCP admits bombing Ncell HQ, towers

The Netra Bikram Chand led Nepal Communist Party has claimed responsibility of the bomb explosion at Ncell's office and 15 towers across the country. According to the report, two leaders of NCP on condition of anonymity said that the incidents of the past two days were "in line with the party's policy." The duo said that the party would bring its official statement later today.  

Student union pelts stone in Nepali Congress’s intra party debate

A debate between Krishna Prasad Sitaula and founding faction of Nepal Students Union turned nasty in the secretariat meeting of Nepali Congress at Sanepa. Following a debate, the two groups pelted stones at one another. The founding faction of the Nepali Congress’s sister wing has proposed to restrict youth leaders above 32 years while the Sitaula faction is against it.  

Police step up security, urges public to report “suspicious objects immediately”

The Nepal Police has stepped up security measures following the attack on Ncell’s office at Nakkhu and towers across the country. Apart from nabbing suspects involved in the incident, police have also increased their presence and changed their duty patterns to ensure safety and security. According to Manita Pokhrel, media officer at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, “Both the patients are out of danger.”
