Farmers stage protest at Maitighar (With photos)

KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Farmers affiliated with the All Nepal Peasant’s Federation staged a protest at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The agitated farmers have demanded legal actions against importers and sellers of low-quality paddy seeds. The protest comes in the wake of a huge number of farmers facing loss due to the use of low-quality paddy seeds.
