Far Western team wins National Women's Kabaddi Competition

DHANUSA, Dec 12: Far Western Province has won the title of National Women's Kabaddi Competition 2021. Far Western Province won the match by a huge margin of 54-8 points over Lumbini, in the final match held in Bateshwor Rural Municipality of Dhanusha on Saturday.

DHANUSA, Dec 12: Far Western Province has won the title of National Women's Kabaddi Competition 2021. Far Western Province won the match by a huge margin of 54-8 points over Lumbini, in the final match held in Bateshwor Rural Municipality of Dhanusha on Saturday.


Along with the title, Far Western Province won Rs. 150,000 in cash prize while the second and third placed team won Rs. 50,505 and Rs. 25,505 in cash respectively, along with shield and certificates.

Similarly, Sunita Thapa of Far Western won player of the match award while best defender award went to Nisha Bohara. According to Madan Bishwakarma, coordinator of the competition publicity committee, the teams from all the seven provinces took part in the competition organized by Bateshwor Rural Municipality and Shiv Shakti Youth Club Bateshwor.
