KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Film Artistes Association of Nepal (FAAN) Chairperson Ram Keshar Bogati died today after being hit by a falling electric pole.
The incident took place near his house at Tikathali, Kathmandu when an electric pole brought down by a tree being cut down at the time struck Bogati, leaving him severely injured.
He breathed his last amidst the treatment at B &B Hospital, according to Secretary-General of FAAN, Sarita Lamichhane.
The mortal body of Bogati has been kept at Patan Hospital for a post-mortem. He was elected the FAAN chair two years ago. RSS
