RASUWA, Oct 12: An excavator operator died after being electrocuted along the Syafru–Rasuwagadhi section on Sunday.
According to Rasuwa District Police Office Spokesperson Raju Shah, the victim has been identified as 50-year-old Shiva Paudel of Kalika Rural Municipality-3, Rasuwa.

The incident occurred near a sand mine along the Timure–Tatopani section when Paudel was assisting in freeing a cargo truck stuck in mud. The excavator’s bucket accidentally touched a live power transmission line, resulting in his death, police said.
The body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem. Locals said the excavator had been operating in the Timure area for a long time. Police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
