Khanal might be having post-COVID complications, according to medics involved in his treatment.
KATHMANDU, June 14: Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal is currently undergoing treatment with oxygen support at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu.
Senior UML leader Khanal was admitted to Norvic Hospital earlier on Monday.
Khanal had been experiencing fever for the past nine days along with breathing difficulties. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital at 7:45 this morning, reads a press statement issued by Norvic Hospital.
“He is currently undergoing treatment with oxygen support, the statement reads further. “Hemoglobin level in his blood has also declined.”
