KATHMANDU, June 16: Former Prime Minister (PM) Jhalnath Khanal is flying to the capital of India, Delhi, on Wednesday afternoon for further treatment.
Senior UML leader Khanal will be undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, according to Khanal’s secretariat.
Khanal was admitted to Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu two days ago after he complained of high fever. The hemoglobin level in his blood was also low. He was then treated with oxygen support, according to Norvic Hospital.
Khanal had earlier tested positive for COVID-19 and had returned home after treatment at Norvic Hospital.
