KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The schedule of the much-awaited cricket tournament 2018 Everest Premier League has been unveiled on Sunday.
The tournament, which will start from December 8 and will run till December 22, sees the defending champion Biratnagar Warriors take on Lalitpur Patriots on the first day.
Lalitpur Patriots will play against Chitwan Tigers on December 9, followed by the runner-up of the last edition Bhairahawa Gladiators taking on Pokhara Rhinos on the same day.

Chitwan Tigers will play again on December 10 against Kathmandu Kings Xi, while Pokhara Rhinos will vie against Lalitpur Patriots later on the same day.
Biratnagar Warriors, who defeated Bhairahawa Gladiators by one run in the 2017’s edition, will face Pokhara Rhinos on December 11, while Chitwan Tigers will go head to head against Bhairahawa Gladiators on the same day.
The replay of the last year’s final between Bhairahawa Gladiators and Biratanagr Warriors will take place on December 12, while Kathmandu Kings XI will face Lalitpur Patriots later on the same day.
Biratanagar Warriors will vie against Chitwan Tigers and Pokhara Rhinos will battle against Kathmandu Kings XI on December 14, while Bhairahawa Gladiators will play against Kathmandu Kings XI and Chitwan Tigers will face Pokhara Rhinos a day later.
Likewise, Lalitpur Patriots will take on Bhairahawa Gladiators on December 16, while the last group match sees Kathmandu Kings XI play against Biratnagar Warriors.
The qualifier one between the topper of the group and the second-placed team will be held on December 18, while the eliminator match between the third and the fourth placed teams will be played just a day later.
The qualifier two between the loser of the qualifier one and the winner of the eliminator match will be contested on December 20. The final of the tournament is set for December 22.
