MYAGDI, March 7: Leader of the Nepali Congress Gagan Thapa has said there were no possibilities of devising states based on ethnic identity.

Inaugurating the 18th District Convention of Nepal Teachers' Union, Myagdi, here today, he refuted the possibility of making the federal states that prioritize the rights of any ethnic group, as Nepal is a country with multi ethnic groups
Leader Thapa said, "Federalism with fewer states that ensures pluralism, identity and rights of all people is good for the country and people."

The new constitution, as he said, would ensure the rights of all people.

He urged one and all to work from their respective positions for the development of the country while urging the teachers to produce empowered and able citizens to accelerate the development. RSS
