KATHMANDU, March 28: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal inaugurated a suspension bridge that establishes an easy link between Karyabinayak and Machhindra Bahal at Lalitpur Metropolis-22 today.
Inaugurating the bridge, Minister Bhusal said that the bridge connecting religious and tourist centers would help in the preservation of Nepal's handicrafts, woodwork and sculpture as well. She said that the suspension bridge would also prove to be a cornerstone in the promotion of external and internal tourism.

She also urged the locals to launch the 'One House, One Tourist' campaign targeting internal and external tourists. “This will not only help in generating income but also helps in the marketing of local products,” Minister Bhusal said.
The suspension bridge was constructed at the cost of over Rs 7.97 million and is 135 meters long. Earlier when the bridge was not built, it was difficult for the tourists to reach both the places at once. Minister Bhusal took the initiative to construct the bridge through the Local Infrastructure Development Program.
