KATHMANDU, Sept 21: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit has stressed for the need of one-door policy for the capacity building of government employees so that it would bring uniformity in the bureaucracy.
Addressing a programme organized to mark the 26th anniversary of Local Development Training Foundation in Lalitpur today, Minister Pandit argued that the one door system would help wipe out duplicity. "Therefore, the Ministry is mulling the capacity building training to the staffs ranging from Kharidar to Joint Secretary via one door system," he added.
"Only passing the public service exam does not make employees capable, so the training providers have a role to capacitate them," he stressed.
