Elephant kills 2 in Saptari

RAJBIRAJ, April 5: A wild elephant from Koshi Wildlife Reserve terrorized the locals of Hunumannagar Bazaar of Saptari district on Tuesday morning, killing two people.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Roshan Kumar Jha and 30-year-old Sanjay Saphi, said Anurag Dwebedi, district police chief of Saptari. 

According to the police, the elephant entered into the market area at 9 am. Five others also injured as while trying to chase away the tusker.
