KATHMANDU, June 24: Electricity supply in Bharatpur is going to be disrupted for two days. The power supply will be disrupted in eight wards of Bharatpur today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) as the power feeders are scheduled to be upgraded, according to the Nepal Electricity Authority.
Electricity service will be disrupted in the areas under four feeders of Bharatpur Metropolitan City area from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Electricity service will be disrupted in ward no. 7, 10 under Bharatpur 1 Feeder, ward no 12 under Bharatpur 2 Feeder, up to Gauriganj of ward no. 8, industries in ward No. 9, 8, 5 under industrial feeder, some of ward no. 11 under Ganeshthan Feeder, some areas of Bharatpur-2 in Pokhara bus park area.
Engineer Rajendra Poudel of Nepal Electricity Authority's Bharatpur Distribution Center informed Republica that electricity will be available at night in the area where electricity is distributed from the substation at Baseni. According to him, the work of upgrading the feeders will be completed in two days.
