KATHMANDU, Dec 13: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that the recent elections of a federal parliament and provincial assemblies are the revolutions of the public mandate.
Stating that there were many revolutions and insurgency in the past for the establishment of people’s rights, leader Oli claimed that the recent elections have been proven as one of the forms of revolution of the public revolution.
New revolution possible: Baidya
Addressing to a felicitation program organized in his residence, Oli termed the recent elections as the revolution of the public mandate for the economic prosperity and development.
He said, “We will build a prosperous nation with the support of Nepali Congress. It does not have an option of unity for the development of nation.”
Oli added that future government would not be the place of incapable manpower.
He appealed to all the representatives from different organization to cooperate to mitigate the corruption and help for institutionalization of democratic norms and values to give the public the feeling of good governance.
“Public hopes for good governance,” Oli said adding, “Provide the easy, rapid and corruption free services to the public.”
