Dolakha, May 14 Cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML clashed in Gairi Mudi village of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality and Jhule of Tamakoshi Rural Municipality in Dolakha district this morning before the voting began for the local level elections.
However, security forces have taken the situations into control in both the places and the voting process has going on smoothly in the district so far.
According to local administration, Police used some rounds of blank fires to take the situation into control in Gairi Mudi. At least half a dozen cadres from both sides sustained injuries during the clash.
