BHAKTAPUR, Feb 14 : A 72-year-old woman lost her life on Friday after being hit by a car in Changunarayan Municipality-3, Kolpakot.
According to the police, a Nissan vehicle numbered (Province 3-01-003 K 4637) traveling from Byasi to Jhaukel struck Kekai Magrati Magar, a resident of Changunarayan-5, Pikhyel, leaving her critically injured. She was rushed to Kathmandu Medical Hospital, Duwakot, where doctors pronounced her dead during treatment.

The driver, Indra Narayan Sitkhu, 54, of Kamalbinayak, Bhaktapur Municipality-10, has been taken into custody by the District Police Range (DPR), Bhaktapur for further investigation, spokesperson DPR Dhundiraj Neupane said.
