BARDIYA, July 6: An elderly man was killed in a tiger attack at Bhagraiya of Madhuban Municipality-3 in Bardiya district when he was collecting fodder and firewood inside the Samjhana Community Forest.
Armed Police Force (APF) Inspector Asmin Thapa Magar said that 67-year-old Chitra Bahadur Khatri’s dead body was recovered from the community forest on Monday afternoon. With this, a total of 12 persons have died in Bardiya district after being attacked by the man eater tiger in a year.
