BAGMATI, Sept 12: Educational institutions in Makwanpur, which have been closed for the past four months, will resume physical classes from today. According to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC), most of the community and private schools in all 10 local levels are about to come into operation.
The educational institutions have been asked to fully comply with the health standards, maintain physical distance and avoid any works that form a crowd.
Schools were closed from April 28 and teaching / learning was being done through alternative means in the district. A meeting of the DCCMC chaired by Chief District Officer Bharat Mani Pandey on September 2 had decided to allow all schools in the district to allow resuming physical classes keeping in view of the improving condition of the COVID-19 pandemic in the district.
