Education Minister Bidhya Bhatta Rai said that the MoEST submitted the file to the Ministry of Health and Population for their opinion and suggestions. About a month ago, the Ministry of Education sent a letter requesting feedback and suggestions.

"We have stated that teachers should receive treatment discounts. Just as the government provides treatment discounts to civil servants, teachers should also be provided with such facilities. The Ministry of Health has agreed to provide their feedback based on this. Once we receive their opinion, we will forward it to the Ministry of Finance accordingly. We will continue advancing this process," said Education Minister Bhatta Rai.

The Ministry of Health has assured to provide suggestions based on the same grounds. The Ministry of Education will send a letter to the Ministry of Finance based on the feedback from the Ministry of Health. Once the Ministry of Finance arranges the necessary budget, Education Minister Bhatta Rai stated that teachers will receive treatment cost discounts, just like civil servants.
