EC to publish name list of FPTP candidates today

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Election Commission (EC) is scheduled to publish the name list of the first-past-the-post (FPTP) candidates for the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies today.

As per the schedule, anyone willing to withdraw their candidacy can do so by the next day. With the publication of the final name list of candidates, they would be provided election symbols. 

The EC has already published the candidacy filing of October 9.
