KATHMANDU, April 1: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit parts of Dolakha at 11:27 am today. The earthquake had its epicenter in the Suri area of Dolakha.
According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, the tremors of the earthquake were also felt in Dolakha, Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot and Kathmandu valley.
Recently, there has been an increase in the occurrence of earthquakes in the eastern and western regions of Nepal. Earlier on March 29, an earthquake measuring 4.6 Richter scale occurred with its epicenter in Taplejung.
