BAITADI, July 2: A fresh earthquake has jolted Bajhang district for two times on Friday morning.
According to Technical Assistant at the Regional Seismological Centre (NSC), Surkhet, Kapil Maharjan, the earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale jolted the district at 6:08 am while another earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale at 6:32 am.
The epicenter of both earthquakes was Mayan, 11 kilometers north east from Chainpur, the district headquarters of Bajhang, added Maharjan.
Earlier, quake was felt for 21 times on July 29 and 30, with its epicenter at the same place.
The damages caused by the earthquake have yet to be reported.
