ARGHAKHANCHI, June 27: It is about a kilometer from Aulwa Khola to Sandhikharka, the district headquarters of Arghakhanchi.
This site which borders with the Gorusinge-Sandhikharka road section is being used as a land-filled site. The rubbish discharged by the locals of the district headquarters are dumped into this site every day.
Visitors are repelled by the dumping site that emits bad smell instead of a beautiful garden which was supposed to be here to welcome them.
Locals of Sandhikharka have been dumping rubbish into this site for years. Despite repeated talks held to relocate the dumping site somewhere else, it could not yield any fruits.
