Driver dies in tractor accident

KAILALI, May 14: Tractor driver Dhan Bahadur Chaudhary, 40, died in a tractor accident at Tikapur in Kailali.

The tractor (Se 1 Ta 1116) en route to Narayanpur from Tikapur met with the accident this morning after one of its wheel got dislodged, said the Area Police Office Tikapur. The Lamki bridge area has witnessed high frequency of road accidents.

Police have set up an information board here to make public aware about the place and lessen rod accidents. At least three persons had already died and two others sustained severe injuries in the area during the current fiscal year.
