KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr. Sashank Koirala has taken lead with more than 4,000 votes in the House of Representatives in Nawalparasai-East-1.

He secured 27, 408 votes votes while his rival from CPN-UML Bhabishwor Parajuli has got 23,024 votes. 

Similarly, in constituency-2 in the district, NC candidate Bishnu Kumar Karki has secured 23,802 and his rival candidate obtained 25,458 votes.
